MAKANA CANDLE

Honoring the tradition of timeless craftsmanship, our new collection juxtaposes the sculptural lines of raw concrete with the soft hues created by natural pigments, and complemented by our gentle fragrance blends.

We hand-cast our concrete vessels in-house and each has its own unique variations in texture and color. Our candles are poured in small batches with our house coconut-soy wax blend, phthalate-free fragrances with essential oils, and lead-free cotton wicking.

Each concrete candle comes packaged in our signature cylindrical packaging with soft colors matching the vessel.

BUNGALOW: Inspired by moody days along the coast when the foggy air is redolent with the fragrance of salty sea air and the aroma of silver sage and eucalyptus. The driftwood you’ve gathered from the beach below permeates the room.

CANOPY: The still, summer air is saturated with the aroma of earthiness, fig leaves and fresh green figs. The grove extends as far as you can see. You seek shelter from the sun under the leafy canopy, the air buzzing slightly with the hum of insects, as a dog barks in the distance.

MAHINA: Carried on a warm breeze, this fragrance blend is a soft, dreamy aroma of tiare blossoms with subtle citrus notes and tuberose, as diaphanous as moonlight, bathing your skin in reflected light from a distance star. Named after the Hawaiian goddess of the moon.

NIGHTFALL: Reminiscent of sultry evenings by the sea, a fragrance blend of amber and marine notes set the mood while the smokiness of a beach bonfire gently wafts into the air. The embers from the fire dance into the night, competing with the lights shimmering in the distance, reflecting off the water.
